Peter Engelmann is a producer, writer-, film-maker and sole founder of Endurance Entertainment GmbH.
He started his career with doing Super-8 shorts, was a trainee at Bavarian Television and developed feature films for Sony Pictures and Kirch Group.
Peter Engelmann has a strong experience in leadership. He worked as Head of Development, Deutsche Columbia Pictures GmbH, and is an expert in English language international fiction.
Following the idea “Entertainment inspired by science” Peter Engelmann develops feature film projects, television projects, and digital content sometimes with a background in science. He wrote and creatively produced “Entscheidung in den Wolken” a German-Austrian Coproduction, for which he got script support by the Bavarian Film and Television Fund (FFF) and got nominated for the German Screenwriting Award. “Flight Director”, one of the projects in Endurance Entertainment GmbH’s current slot originated from the MINTiFF screenwriter’s competition for projects with a scientific background.
